Delhi Malls
Today Delhi is mushrooming with shopping malls all over, some random and some specialized. The customer can choose from hundreds of brands under one roof, buy them, watch a movie, buy grocery at cheap retail stores, play video games at the game stations and eat something from the restaurants / food courts to satiate his hunger. These places have given the city a makeover of sorts by adding style to the city skyline. Some of the prominent malls Select Citywalk in Saket (for all brands), Emporio Mall in Vasant Kunj (for luxury brands), Crescent Mall in Lado Sarai (stores of Indian Designers) and Ansal Plaza in Khel Gaon Marg (the first mall in Delhi).
Delhi Movie Halls
Watching a movie is one the fun things that people usually do when with friends. These movie halls are more often than not located in the shopping malls. Stand alone movie halls today frequently find no takers. Each multiplex has several screens, showing different movies, for people with different tastes. Though both Bollywood and Hollywood do extremely well, recently the halls have also started to screen vernaculars. Film festivals are also held in some multiplexes.
