By Air
Almost all the domestic and international flights have marked their presence on the Indian sky. The Indira Gandhi International Airport is well connected to all the major cities in America, Australia, South East Asia and Europe. The Palam Domestic Airport handles transport within India.
How To Reach
By Road
Entire India is well connected with Delhi through a series of well-maintained highways and expressways. Delhi has three bus terminals, namely the Anand Vihar Bus Terminal, Kashmiri Gate Terminal and the Sarai Kale Khan Terminal. Fare depends upon the distance covered and the types of bus one takes (government, private or luxury). There are many Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) plying on the inter-state routes. Moreover, DTC has also started a bi-weekly route to Lahore, Pakistan.
By Railways
Delhi is connected to all major cities of India through broad gauge as well as meter gauge railway tracks. Trains are available from Delhi for almost all major cities of India. There are three main railway stations of Delhi- New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station and Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station. Luxury tourist trains like the Fairy Queen, Palace-on-Wheels and Royal Orient Express can be boarded from New Delhi Cantonment Railway Station.
